Ingredients
- 8 sausages (100g)
- 8 bacon rashers (50g)
- 200g plain flour
- 4 large eggs (60g)
- 300ml milk (75g)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (5g)
- 1 teaspoon salt (2g)
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper (1g)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (200°C fan/gas mark 7).
- Wrap each sausage with a bacon rasher.
- Place the wrapped sausages in a large baking dish and drizzle with vegetable oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- While the sausages are baking, prepare the batter by whisking together the flour, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Remove the baking dish from the oven and pour the batter over the sausages.
- Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the batter is puffed and golden brown.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
