Gooey Espresso Brownies

Espresso Brownies ☕

Ingredients

  • 225g Unsalted butter
  • 400g Granulated sugar
  • 100g Brown sugar
  • 200g Eggs (4 large eggs)
  • 12g Vanilla extract
  • 125g All-purpose flour
  • 75g Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 10g Espresso powder
  • 5g Salt
  • 150g Chocolate chips

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until well combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Allow to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
