Buffalo Cauliflower Bites

A plant-based twist on the famous American-style wings, that brings all the same flavour, with less of the climate impact.

Ingredients

  • 120g Buffalo Sauce
  • 500g Cauliflower
  • 12g Garlic
  • 8g Garlic Powder
  • 60g All-Purpose Flour
  • 120g Water
  • 8g Paprika
  • Salt
  • Olive Oil

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 230 degrees celsius and line a tray with baking paper.
  2. Cut the cauliflower into bitesize florets.
  3. In a bowl, whisk the flour, water, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
  4. Dip each floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated, and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the cauliflower is crispy and golden brown.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the buffalo sauce and olive oil.
  7. Remove the cauliflower from the oven and toss in the buffalo sauce.
  8. Return the florets to the oven for another 5 minutes.
  9. Serve immediately with your favourite dipping sauce.
