Baked Pears with Maple & Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 4 medium pears
  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2/3 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1.5 tablespoons butter

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cut the pears in half and remove the core.
  3. Place the pears in a baking dish, cut side up.
  4. Drizzle the pears with maple syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Top with chopped walnuts and small pieces of butter.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until the pears are tender.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
